Deutsches Altenheim, German Centre for Extended Care, was founded in 1914 by the German Ladies Aid Society of Boston, which is still its guiding force. Originally planned as a retirement residence for elderly German Americans, the organization now serves persons of any nationality, race, or religion who have need of a full range of elder services.  Combining the warmth of german hospitality with the most up to date environment.
